Sublime 1938 reprint of L'Ile Noire with Hergé's signature on the 1st plate, 4th plate A5, red cloth spine, dark blue endpapers, printed in Belgium.
The sides are bright with a beige fit.
The sides are infinitely patinated in places.
The red back is perfectly regular, close to new.
The caps are perfectly rounded, lightly rubbed.
The corners are squared, lightly rubbed.
Both lower corners were shocked and tasered.
The slices are in excellent condition.
The notebook is perfectly welded, without lag.
The inside pages are in excellent condition.
Note: the settlement due to the impact is much more marked on the bottom corner of the 1st side.
(Without friction).
A superb copy, without retouching, very rare in such a state !
